Welcome to Cedar Valley American Heritage Girls!
What is American Heritage Girls?
American Heritage Girls is a Christ-centered, character-building organization for girls ages 5-18 dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community and country. It was founded in 1995 by a group of parents that desired a faith-based, character development program to guide their daughters as women of God and integrity. AHG was created with the love of God through the love of families for the love of children. Since its start in 1995 in West Chester, Ohio, AHG has grown from 10 Troops and 100 Members to over 50,000 members across 15 countries and 50 states. Additional information regarding American Heritage Girls can be found at the national home page located at www.americanheritagegirls.org.
"AHG’s Program Emphases creates a well-rounded experience for girls. A girl who completes the AHG Program will be a Christ-following servant leader who is honoring, relational, anchored in Christ, and competent: a woman of integrity."
AHG Mission, Oath and Creed

What makes AHG different than other programs?
AHG is a Christ centered organization. All leadership including individual Troop leadership, AHG Board of Trustees and National Staff must abide and agree to the Statement of Faith as referred to on the AHG website, as well as in the individual Unit Leader handbooks and specific ministry agreements. These agreements are renewed annually.
About our Troop
IA0110 was formed in the spring of 2021, through a shared desire of many parents to bring this ministry to the Cedar Valley. Our Troop numbers come from our verse, which is Colossians 1:10:
Troop Meetings
We typically meet on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month from 6:30pm - 8:00pm, September through May. We learn new skills, serve the needs of others, strengthen our faith and honor our country, all while making friends and having fun! All age groups (Units) begin each meeting together with an opening flag ceremony, prayer, announcements, and devotion time led by our Troop Shepherd. After the closing flag ceremony, girls are dismissed for Unit Time. Each unit group consists of girl members, a Unit Leader, a Co-Leader and additional registered parent/adult helpers as needed. For the security of our girls, meeting locations will be shared as each new family inquires for their daughter.
